Credit crunch
Damn the credit crunch! The bar where I used to organise monthly milonga has just succumbed to the lack of money (not) going around. It's a huge blow, everyone really liked the bar and if we except the floor, it was perfect!
Also, for those of you who live in the UK, tango is going to get more expensive! The pound has lost a lot of value in relation to the euro and to the dollar. As the Argentine Peso currency is indexed to the dollar that means that a pound will buy much less than it did 6 months ago. Expect rises in imported cds, shoes and even tuition from Argentina!
On the other hand, the credit crunch has made some milongas cheaper - an example of deflation in tango!
