He may not be a headliner of the most fashionable tango festivals (that is reserved to a restrict number of couples) and most of you may not have heard of him but Fernando Sanchez is a fantastic teacher. He teaches with Nayla Vacca and recently they moved to Leeds for a few months. I had a private lesson with him (Eleni brought him over to Birmingham) and I was very glad that he could give such a precious amount of feedback. If you want to have good tuition he is worth the trip to Leeds. I did not get the opportunity to meet Nayla but judging by the video, he is in good company.
PS - I am embedding a non-choreographed video. It looks more natural!

Love them!! Really elegant and fluid. They remind me slightly of Julio and Corina.
Ohhh I remember them from when they came to the Crypt last summer! They were ever so sweet, and both seemed about sixteen. I missed most of the class, but he taught in a pair of jeans that were too long for him, and I couldn't help thinking "Your Mum needs to accept that you're not going to grow into those." They do dance so beautifully - and I think I see from your video that he's decided to grow a beard. Good choice, I think, especially in Leeds.
Hi mshedgehog, it's funny, 'cause he hasn't changed his clothing style and I thought exactly the same!! :oD
La Tanguera, I can see where you can find JyC in their style but Julio has a very distinctive style (not to speak of his embrace). I love the way how Fernando steps on the floor. I've tried to do it and it's quite efficient!
lol, I wanted to make him my younger brother :D
And then they got all dolled up for their demonstration, and he put on a beautiful black suit - and I couldn't think of anything but a toddler dressed up for a wedding. Especially in the milonga, when their little feet went so fast.
Definitely the beard is a Plan.
