Absolutely enchanting! I would love to try out something like that!

And this comment is dedicated to the 'Anonymous' person that commented in the "Life is not black and white. And neither is tango!" ---> You can dance slowly to a milonga!! Did you see the double time and quadruple time that the couple were taking???

I wonder if Horacio is related to Romina...

This is a great example of something in tango that is all too rare: humor, fun, the ultimate conversation complete with jokes! FUN. And it takes real skill to do this.
Thanks for finding and sharing this delight.

I like it. We need to give ourselves permission to play sometimes. This past weekend, I was 'strumming' a woman's leg to the guitar during one song.

On a separate note, please accept my apologies for omitting your blog from my link list until now. I could have sworn that I added it as soon as I discovered your blog. I just went to look you up and realized it wasn't there. My bad.

Hi Alex, thank you very much for adding us to your blog list! Just a very little correction, the bog "Abrazo" is not from Italy but from Portugal (I know very well the blogger so can't be wrong on that one). ;o)
As for the clip I think it illustrates perfectly what playfulness, absolute handling over technique, rhythmicity and creativeness are. More than that it demonstrates lots of cojones, there are many milongas where Horacio would be shot by not dancing a milonga like everyone else does...

I love that performance! It was SO fun and playful, so refreshing. I agree with everything that Elizabeth said above. The fact that it is a playful interpretation does not take away from the skill and perfection of the dancers.

This reminded me of some of the milongas that I've seen with Hugo Patyn and Miriam Larici.

Thank you for posting this video. I'm going to watch it again now. *smile*

Ah Milonga, tangos younger, more available, sister ;-)

For anyone wanting to learn fun, playful, milonga I would recommend the services of Armando Copa
