3 2 tango

Nancy and Damian were in the last weekend at the I Edinburgh International Tango Festival. I was told by a few tangologuers that they did a very nice performance. But no other performance beats this one. Not because it's Di Sarli on piano and not because it's my tango crush singing (for those who don't yet know it's Podestá) but because there are actually three people dancing. And no cheezyness!

Awww, yes I was at the EITF and some people told me that in one of their classes, the baby (Joel, who is now born!) was crying so much that they had to hold him in between them and actually 3 of them danced together in the class :D

Mmmm and at the closing Milonga when all the teaching couples had another wee performance Yoel/Joel??? had his professional debut!! Don't know if anybody videoed it..Anyway, I don't think anybody was watching the couples - the triple was just much more interesting!

Maybe one of the people that went to the festival (I was the only one not there) can gives a little overview?
eleni? iislucas? supantheress?

Hi claudita, I wish I had been there this weekend. But I just couldn't do it. I would be feeling very guilty just now... Next year! ;o)

I was pregnant when I was bitten by the tango bug! It makes balance a wee bit more challenging!

Thanks for posting this dance!

He is a music lover in general, and sings along.

I have two older sons, though, who are consistently my biggest supporters about my love of tango. "Don't you have tango tonight, Mom?" "You should go to tango tonight, you're always so pretty when you dance." "Mom, Tango makes you happy. Go dance."

It's the sweetest thing in the world to have my children recognize what brings me joy.

I keep hoping that one of these days they will want to dance with me...

This video is beautiful not because she is very pregnant (hello, people!), but because of all the elegant walking that they do. With nothing more than the walk, their dance is exquisite!
