Would you?

Mariana Flores and Eduardo Capussi are visiting the UK for the first time as part of the London Tango Festival. They are a quite odd couple - theatrical, fun and out of borders - Johanna even suggested where they may have got an influence from in her seminal blog.
Now, the question that I ask you is. After having seen this clip would you be swayed to do a workshop with them?

I love it! Yes; this is genius. Perhaps more theatre than Salon tango, but quite brilliantly unreserved, irreverent and line-breakingly inspiring ;) I'd take a workshop!

My own teacher, Veronica Alegre, studied under Flores y Capussi. While their performances are a mix of tango and theatre she says their teaching is strong on technique.

Good to know limerick. Although I share my enthusiasm with iislucas (good to see you around here!) there aren't many performances where they actually dance proper tango... One starts to think, hum, are they going to teach me that in a class?
Maybe a lot of people don't take workshops with them because of that. Or maybe I'm just weird.

Your apprehension is understandable. But then there are plenty of teachers whose performances bear little resemblance to their teaching, just not to this extreme.

I would absolutly take a workshop from them! They have to know a great deal about technique to parody bad tango so well!

Hi Elizabeth, I agree! BUt if you go to the internet there are very little clips of them dancing "normally"... Anyway, they are obviously successful so I guess they're on the right track!
