Café de los Maestros

Wow! I am speechless. Stunned with the last two hours. If you want to know what I mean, buy the film "Café de los Maestros". There is one big disappointment. It's only 90 minutes long. It could last forever.

Better still see it in a (preferably big and sold out) picture house! Before I went to see it I wasn't sure this would make a good movie, but it is astonishing!!! It's as emotionally involving as Tango music itself - go see it (or buy it if it's not shown anywhere near you)!!! Claudita

Unfortunately, Claudita, there aren't such filmhouses down in Coventry. But if I have a chance I'll see it again.

I saw it on the telly, it was very good, especially the concert at the end. The only disappointment for me is that they did not show much dancing, and when they did, the people dancing weren't dancing to the music they were playing. I know it was meant to be about the music, but the 2 things are so closely linked.

Also, does anyone know if the footage of the entire concert is available anywhere. I've been trying to find dvds on the internet but with no luck, so I think I might have to settle for the CD.

I have been searching for this film (love the CD!) I haven't found it for sale in the usual places. Any help appreciated!
